Ripping Bitrates

Available ripping bitrates vary based on the ripping format. The Windows Media Audio (.wma) format offers 6.5, 28.8, 56, 64, 96, 128, and 160Kbps. Conversely, selecting the MPEG Layer 3 Audio (.mp3) format allows you to specify from the following bitrates: 64, 96, 128, 160, 192, 256 or 320Kbps. You can create a custom template to take advantage of a wider range of bitrate options.

SIREN XPress users are limited to 96Kps bitrate in the .wma format and twenty .mp3 encodes. Also, Sonic Foundry's Perfect Clarity Audio (.pca) is not an available format for SIREN Xpress users.
